It’s been a while!
It’s been a while since I have posted anything! ahhh such a slacker, but in my defense so many new things are happening in my household!
So lets go back to a couple of weeks ago..
I went home (Minnesota) back in the begining of December and stayed for a whole month!It was so nice spending time with my friends and family! It seemed like I was totally out of the loop since I hadnt been back for like 6 months previous to that! While I was home mamma and me had to catch up on our love for shopping together and arts & crafts of course! She is my favorite person to do those things with so it was super fun for me! She has such a creative mind and just such an inspiration to me! I stayed for about a month and just had a really relaxing vacation! Nate came at had Christmas with my family, it was so great having him there! Felt perfect! He had a ton of fun while he was there too..he was OBSESSED with taking pictures in the snow! I was his model the whole time so I got to spend a lot of time, freezing cold out in the snow with him..He also did my family pictures and they turned out wonderful! So that is that!
When I came back to LaLa Land, I really buckled down and started looking for a big girl job! Well, after a ton of emails, phone calls, and interviews..I had a few companies fighting over me! YAYYYYYY! I made a decision and I am now employed with Asher Fabric Concepts as a Fabric Designer and will be designing a clothing line for them in the near future as well! So thats what I’ve been up to..WORK$$ :)
On top of that, Nathaniel and I are looking for a new place..Nate just leased a new studio space..so TONS of moving! ((oh joy)) ;)
Anyway, I’ve made some new hair pieces and bracelets, got a new dress form and have been doing some much needed sketching!

NEW photo shoot today!
I just got in from the photo shoot for my newest hair pieces, taken by Nathaniel Taylor!(nathanieltaylorphotography.com) IT WENT GREAT!
Instead of doing just the in-studio white background pictures, we did more of a lifestyle shoot this time..the pictures turned out AMAZING!
I had the beautiful Kira Kay Gilbraith model them for me..she did such a great job!

SO IM REALLY EXCITED!!!
A few days ago I recieved a HUGE box FULL of awesome, vintage jewelry! My mamma sent it all the way from small town MINNESOTA!!
As i was going through it I had to giggle, a few of the things my mom sent were broaches she had made wayyyyyy back in the day out bits and pieces of old jewelry. Such a crafty little family :) haha
Anyway, so im really excited to combine her works of art into mine and make some really awesome pieces.
Along with the vintage jewelry, i got some great new feathers today that im pumped to use!
